LightSpeed’s Warehouse of the Year

As part of LightSpeed’s quest to continue improving warehouse efficiencies and to give some long over due attention to the hard working men and women in the warehouse, we are pleased to announce our very first Warehouse of the Year winner, M&M Sales in Lafayette, LA.

The process started with each G&J Rep nominating a vending operator in their area for consideration. The LightSpeed team then used production metrics to rank each nominee in 3 key areas:  Total Clock Time, Active Picks per Hour and Clock Picks per hour. The 29 nominees score in each metric was ranked from 1-29 and ranking in each metric was added together giving them an overall score. The top 3 were named Finalist.

Once the Finalists were named, seven judges were dispersed to visit each location to spend some time with each of them and then rank based on the criteria that LightSpeed provided. Our judges were, Thad Drum with G&J Marketing, Evan Jarecki with Gimme Vending, Steve and Patty Closser with Translucent, John Hickey with Tech2Success, Damon Costner with MatHand and Neil Swindale with VendCentral.  Each judge paid their own travel expenses to each location and submitted their votes in the same manner, ranking them 1-2-3. The scores were tallied and a winner was named.

Congratulations to our Finalists: All Star Services in Flint, MI, Automatic Chef Canteen in Waco, TX and our winner M&M Sales in Lafayette, LA.
